Standing Committee for Christian World Service

The Standing Committee for Christian World Service has responsibility for developing the vision, direction and review of SACC Core Purpose Priority 3:  Ecumenical Partnership in the Mission of Christ.

This committee ensures that SACC

a range of ecumenical partnerships in the mission of Christ to enable people in churches to act as Christians together on education, advocacy and fundraising to help alleviate poverty, oppression and injustice in Australia and overseas.

As the other Priorities of SACC will weave through the work of this Standing Committee, conversations across the Standing Committees and other bodies with a view to cooperation and possible action together will be encouraged.
